Notes: Dr. Gil Grissom never fails to disappoint. I am going to add my voice to the chorus of how this post is one of his best. It is so very Grissom and it shows the details of Grissom’s very unique thought processes and how he relates to a crime scene, his team and time. Just wonderfully presented!

Notes: I have watched the character of Hsu Danmei over the years and all of the events in his life. Hsu learns from his Watcher that his son, once believed to be dead, is alive. Very well written. This mun and muse consistently gives us intense details and they are always true to the Muse’s own distinctive voice. I admire that greatly.

Notes: I am a huge fan of historical fiction, particularly 16th Century Elizabethan fiction! The voice of this muse is so close to the times that it makes it a complete joy to read. I know of very few writers that have the courage to tackle such a complex muse with such a strong sense of the Muse’s own temperament.

Notes: I told you that I am partial to historical characters and fiction and this one is absolutely no exception! Reinette is such a well researched, beautifully crafted muse, the beauty of her imagery and the carefully woven tapestry that makes up this muse is ever-so clear here! Reinette has a beautiful mind, in spite of her challenges in life she never fails to be an enchanting Mistress to Louis XV. Here it is very easy to see why she was so successful.

Notes: Marius has a very distinctive voice. When I started out reading this muse I was never sure if I liked him or not. Certainly he is not a muse you would ever want to turn your back on. Here we get a great glimpse of what life was like in the Juli household when Marius was a young man. The more I read it, the more I really do like it!

Notes: You can feel Snake’s anger just jump off the page at you! Snake is an incredibly consistent muse and he and his mun remain true to the spirit of the movies. Snake is in your face and constantly unafraid, at least here you get no sense of fear at all from him!

Notes: I am not a big fan of comic books or movie spin offs of comic books but i have to say that Johnny Storm made it enjoyable to read. There is something so intensely poignant about a very evocative song and meeting someone from your past. This post is really well written and the dialogue is crisp and has a very natural flow. I have a whole new appreciation for this muse and their offerings.
