I must say, Mark, this result is hardly a surprise, but I find the last statement rather quaint. *smirk*
Deep Down You Are Intuitive |
![]() You’re the type of person who understands other people and the world very well. You don’t let on to how much you know. You can tell so much from someone’s facial expressions or tone of voice. And you always know when you’re being lied to. You show the world exactly what you want to show. Besides being good at reading people, you also know how you’re being read. |
Quaint? I’m not sure I see how not resorting to manipulation is fucking quaint.
I found it quaint that I ‘usually do not resort to it. I do resort to it – if the situation is needful. So does everyone.
Sure they do. I’ve been guilty of manipulation myself more times than I’d like, but shit, there’s a world of difference between ‘usually do not’ and ‘actually do’, which is what it was probably getting at. Semantics but not quaint. *shrugs*
You can actually determine what the intent of the author of the quiz was? Fascinating. I think most people ‘usually do’, but are so unaware that they are actually doing such manipulations because doing so is like second nature to them. All those ‘conditional’ little likes and dislikes, approvals and disapprovals – behaviours and controlled observations that they think are oh-so-innocent and are anything but.
What I find quaint is the denial of that deeper understanding by both the person that wrote the test and also the denial of those with this result who think that they are not by their very nature manipulative.
And do you think that the person who wrote the test really put that much fucking thought into it? And it’s worth that much thought from you?
*laughing* Point made. No on either count.
*chuckles* Sometimes the simplest answer’s the best.
